Lumenati's Universal iTV Technology Featured In Microsoft's Windows XP New York City Launch

Lumenati to debut its broadband iTV software
and set-top-media-center designed on Windows XP

New York City, NY/San Rafael, CA- Oct 23, 2001-Digital technologies pioneer, Lumenati, Inc., today announced it's participation in Microsoft's Windows® XP product launch at the Marriott Marquis Theater, New York City, October 25, 2001. Lumenatiô will debut its next generation TV-centric broadcast-broadband integrated software platform, code-named Kenza. Built with the support of Microsoft and based on Windows XP, the "Kenza" advanced TV software is the optimal framework for delivery of bundled broadband and broadcast subscription-based content to the television.

Kenza will demonstrate the ease of integrating streamed, cached, web, and broadcast services into a customizable bundle for the television and can be managed via a remote control and integrated interface.

Lumenati's vice president of business development, Steve Harnsberger said, "Microsoft's support is an important vote of confidence not only for Lumenati and our Kenza software, but also for the migration of complete digital media management and immediate-choice-driven IP programming into the living room. Windows XP has propelled forward the application and system capabilities we can offer through our products."

On October 24 and 25, 2001, Lumenatiô will debut its broadband "residential digital media center" featuring Kenzaô designed for Microsoft Windows XP, at station #8 and within the "digital living room" at the Microsoft Windows XP product launch event pavilion, Marriott Marquis, New York City.

Windows XP is the new Windows with a brand new look. Built on an enhanced Windows 2000 engine, it enables exciting new experiences that gives users the freedom to unlock the possibilities of the digital world.
