OptisX Increases Sexual Energy and Enhances Sexual Desire
The initiator or trigger to all sexual responses occurring within the male system is initially driven by the libido.
Libido research by Bulgarian researchers led to investigation into Tribulus terrestris.
It has been found that Tribulus may increase testosterone levels by
boosting blood levels of luteinizing hormone (LH), a hormone that
plays a significant role in testosterone regulation.
By 1981, standardized tribulus extracts entered into mainstream
eastern European medical practice as a treatment for low libido, infertility, and poor sexual function.
More recent studies with boars concluded that Tribulus brought dramatic increase in libido
-- 71% recovery of libido and sexual reflexes (Sopharma 1997). Studies on 212 men between
14 and 60 confirmed by three separate teams documented consistent results.
To further address libido and the main receptors in the brain linked
to libido, Elima Biotronics has included Mucuna Pruriens. Also, known
as velvet bean, various herbal practitioners have used it for centuries
to manage Parkinson's disease and nerve impairment, depression and improve
mental alertness. Among other natural phytochemicals, Mucuna also contains
L-Dopa (l-dihydroxyphenylalanine). When taken orally, it crosses through
the "blood-brain barrier." Once it crosses, it is converted to dopamine.
The resulting increase in brain dopamine concentrations is believed
to improve sexual function. Mucuna has been prescribed as an aphrodisiac
by herbalists and a recent study revealed that the herb is useful in
improving sexual performance in normal male animal models. The authors
of that study concluded that the effects on mating behavior and sexual
performance in the male rats could partially be attributed to the androgenic
effect of Mucuna.
Though widely known primarily for its ability to increase blood circulation to the brain, ginkgo biloba has also been shown to increase
sexual function in multiple studies.
Urologists performing studies in Germany
concluded that ginkgo's effect on the brain (the largest sex organ) was profound on men's erections.
A separate study at University of California concluded that ginkgo dramatically impacted all four (4)
phases of sexual response: desire, excitement, orgasm and resolution (afterglow).
